Liquid Urethane Foam with a 2lb density is a two-component, Isocyanate/Polyol based, pour-in-place, urethane foam system available in three separate density formulations by weight per cubic foot. Our 2 Lb. Foam meets USCG Title 33, Chapter 1, Part 183. Perfect Boat Foam for Structural Applications! Polyurethane Mix / Pour Foam. COAST GUARD CERTIFIABLE AS FLOTATION FOAM. Resistant To Water Penetration (Can Be Used For Flotation And Insulation). A 2 gallon kit of 2lb Foam will expand to 8 cubic Feet. Common Applications: 2LB density marine foam is recommended for void filling in nonstructural applications. This product can be poured underneath decks and inside cavities where a lightweight floation foam is needed to provide buoyancy. Directions for General Small Quantity Use:
Step 1: Mix equal parts Base and Activator (1:1 by volume) or mix by weight (approx. 112 parts A-Side: Base to approx. 100 parts of B-Side: Activator).
Step 2: Mixing and metering equipment must accommodate the 1:1 by volume mix ratio.
Step 3: Mix thoroughly using a stir stick or a mechanical mixer.
Step 4: Pour immediately after mixing.
Step 5: Allow cooling between pouring.
Directions may vary by application.
Maximum service temperature of 180°F.
